My name is Jean Holt, I live and work in the beautiful Ribble Valley in North West England.
I paint in anything and everything .... watercolour, oil, pastel, charcoal, pencil, pens -
and paint anything and everything .... on whatever I can lay my hands on at the time !
I work from a VERY small wooden studio which is located in the middle of a large, busy Garden Centre not far from my home in Whalley.
I can be found there most afternoons, either beavering away on my latest project, or chatting to one of the many visitors who regulary come to my studio.
I am one of the luckiest artists in Lancashire, in that I have loads and loads of exhibition space on the walls of the large and airy restaurant at the garden centre.... far too much for me alone - so I invite other local artists to join me
EXHIBITION OF ORIGINAL WORK
We have a super, ever changing display of original work of all different genre
in our exhibition - and it is now rapidly developing a reputation as the place to go to see superb quality work by local talented artists.
My work is also exhibited at Petre Lodge Country Hotel - near Whalley and also Clitheroe Golf Club.
I have work hanging in Australia, USA, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal
